Pursuing my passion

Back in the spring my mom and I headed south of Dallas to Ennis, TX. The area is known for it's spectacular display of bluebonnets, paintbrushes, and beautiful vistas. When you arrive you feel you have traveled further than you have away from the hustle and bustle of Dallas. The serene landscape, rolling hills, bluebonnet trails, and livestock are a peaceful respite during the week. That all ends when the crowds roll in for the Bluebonnet Festival with food, music, rides, art and of course the floral display. One of the most unusual sights we saw were the longhorns laying in a field of bluebonnets.
